Our teams of engineers, PhDs in chemistry, students, and technicians work tirelessly to meet the technological challenges of today and tomorrow. With the support of our various sites, we develop technologies to improve our baths and work on a large scale, particularly in two key areas:
🔹 Evaluation and improvement of coating processes (developments in-house or with our partners).
🔹 Participation in industrial research projects (international collaborations in the naval, military, automotive, and aerospace sectors).

 

To support these areas, our teams conduct numerous tests and analyses:
✅ Accelerated corrosion tests to monitor treatment quality using specialized equipment (salt spray chambers, Cyclic corrosion chamber…). Our natural exposure site on the Atlantic coast also enables testing under real-life conditions.
✅ Chemical analysis of surfaces with scanning electron microscopes, spark spectrometers, glow discharge spectroscopes, digital optical microscopes, etc., to understand surface composition.
✅ Physical analyses to measure the mechanical properties of materials with durometers and roughness meters.
✅ Analyses of bath composition using spectrophotometers and ICP, for ever-more efficient processes.
✅ Processing plants from small containers to m³ pilot tanks, to test and perfect our solutions.
